Training

If you are new to diving, or already a qualified diver (no matter which agency) wishing to progress further, then we can offer you training tailored to your needs.

The courses are a combination of theory and pool lessons.  Theory lectures are held in the tennis pavillion at the Bishop's Stortford Sports Trust in Cricketfield lane For pool training we use Grange Paddocks pool in Bishop's Stortford.

Open water training usually takes place at Gildenburgh water,  near Peterborough or Stoney Cove near Leicester. Along with training days there is an active and varied programme of dives that are suitable for newly qualified divers.

For the more experienced diver we offer courses up to Advanced Diver, and even preparation for Open Water Instructor. As a club we run a programme of Skill Development Courses (SDC's)  to complement the core training. Our lecture program is run regularly for Ocean Diver, Sport Diver and Dive Leader with Advanced Diver trainees catered for when required.
